About Me

I’m Sandra Mendez and founder of ‘Beginning to End Ceremonies’.

I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself and how this calling began.  I am Latin American, born in a little country called Belize.  I have lived in the UK for over 30yrs, I turned 50, May of 2020.

Alongside being a Celebrant I run a small cleaning business with clients of almost 18 years who have become very close long time friends as well as clients.  I absolutely enjoy both, offering a service with a commitment in providing the beast service I can means so much to me no matter which job I am doing.

Loyalty, honesty, and integrity are values which I uphold myself to in all aspects of my life and will never be compromised on!

I have four amazing children who are my role models.  Yes, my children.  Two strong men and two ladies, all with more drive, tenacity and positivity than I’ve ever known of, two of 30, one of 25 and our little man of 8, (going on 30), some say he’s an “old Spirit”, nonetheless, he is the centre of our Universe.  In my  spare time I enjoy walking, cycling, hiking together with my little man and of course spending as much time with my family.

I have no fear of FoooooD and enjoy in abundance a hearty Full English Breakfast or ‘Scooby Snack’, which you can see me enjoying in one of my images.  I enjoy a good board games night with nibbles and drink, I laugh a lot, I’m an early riser, if I’ve not accomplished half a days work by 10am then I feel my day is wasted.  Music is an absolute for me, from the moment I wake to the moment I go to sleep. Music is a necessity according to my ‘book of happiness’, second to my family.

After loosing my mother in 2016 it’s safe to say they kept me going with an abundance of unconditional support, which is when being a celebrant called to me. I am a Passionate and sensitive individual which I believe makes me the perfect celebrant.  Being able to empathise and understand the feelings and emotions of the individuals when it comes to conducting any ceremony is a huge plus.
